Review Links
Review Links are an easy way to send files to clients and collaborators for asynchronous feedback. Text and annotations can be added as comments to video, audio and images at specific timestamps for frame-accurate feedback. You can also enable downloads to easily share files with your collaborators.

Viewing and Commenting on Files in a Review Link
A Review Link will first open on the main page, displaying all the files and folders contained in the link. Click to open the file or folder you'd like to view. If there is only one file, that file will open automatically:
- You can play the file, and when you’re ready to add a comment, you can either pause playback or click on the Comments box and playback will pause automatically.
- Type your comment and click
Post
to save it. - You can also select the paintbrush tool in the bottom tool bar, pick a color and draw on screen.
- Click
Post
to save this drawing as a timestamped comment. You can also combine text and drawing in the same comment. - Comments can be replied to in-thread, or marked as complete.
- A full list of comments can be downloaded in the format of your choice at any time by clicking the
Download Comments
button in the Comments panel. - You can select an alternative file to view in the Sources drop-down menu below the viewer.
- Or click on “Back to all files” to return to the main page to see all files in the link.
The comments applied to a file in a Review Link, Presentation Room or Livestream Room will be attached to the file itself and will be visible wherever that file is accessible. This means that comments applied to a file in a Presentation Room, for example, will be visible in any of the Review Links that contain that file. Opening the file within the Louper Dashboard will also open any comments attached to that file.
Downloading files from a Review Link
- If downloads are enabled, you can download individual files by opening an individual file and clicking the
Download
button in the top right of the file’s page. - You can download all the files in the review link by navigating back to All Files, and clicking on the
Download All
button in the top right of the Overview page.
You may need to enable “multiple downloads” in your browser to support this. In Chrome, the choice to enable multiple downloads is stored per-site. Please navigate to: Settings › Privacy and Security › Site Settings › Additional permissions › Automatic downloads to enable this.
When downloading multiple folders, the folder structure wont be preserved. You may prefer to share .zip files to preserve specific folder structures.
